What happens if the Digital Double runs into a task or problem the employee has never handled before?
Sifta is built to avoid guessing. If a problem falls outside the knowledge assigned to that role (RoleService), or the model's confidence is too low, it stops rather than improvising. The task is flagged "Needs Escalation" and routed to the right manager for direction.
If an employee tends to run behind schedule, does their Digital Double inherit that same pattern?
No. Sifta only replicates professional know-how — how someone estimates costs, the way they write technical responses, how they handle documents. The Digital Double works within the SLA set for that project and completes tasks on time, regardless of the habits of the person it's standing in for.
Can Sifta handle complex, cross-functional teams where human employees and Digital Doubles work the same processes together?
Yes — mixed teams are the normal case, not an edge case. The Digital Double standing in for an absent project manager can exchange information with a business analyst who's in the office, while also coordinating with the Digital Double of a developer who happens to be out at the same time. Sifta keeps context consistent across every thread, so the project doesn't lose continuity.
How long does Sifta need to calibrate before a Digital Double is ready to fully stand in for an employee?
The Digital Double gets more accurate the more real work context it has to learn from. In practice that's around 30 days of the team working normally inside Sifta — during that time the system builds a profile of the role from actual activity. Once it has enough data, full stand-in mode switches on automatically.
